Uninstalling Prey:

We kindly request that you enable a permission to prevent the app from being uninstalled. This additional security measure ensures that the application cannot be removed without your authorization. You can uninstall the app by accessing the login screen and deactivating this permission.

MUST READ:

• The app recommends disabling the "Delete permissions if not used" option to ensure continuous protection.
• When using the "Lock" feature, the app requests Accessibility services. This is necessary to block the device and display an "Access Denied" screen overlay.
• The Power Button Lock feature is only available on Android versions prior to 9. Android 9 and above include added restrictions that prevent this functionality.
• In Android 12 or later versions, the app requires access to Management of All Files to enable "File Retrieval" in addition to retrieving images and videos.
• The app utilizes the Device Administrator permission to enable the function of the Remote Wipe and Lock features in the Pro version.
• The app requests access to location data in the background for geotracking purposes and to enable advanced features such as geofencing and location history even when the app is not actively used. While most Android devices automatically request all necessary permissions, some may require manual granting of additional permissions.
